Soon after that, Nina worked as a Behavior Interventionist (BI) for a local ABA company in San Bernardino, California. She then pursued her Master's of Science (MS) degree in Psychology with a concentration of ABA from Purdue University Global and finished her degree in 2019. She then served as a BCBA for a local agency and as a school district BCBA at San Bernardino Unified School District (SBUSD) providing ABA services to students and individuals with behavior needs. Nina served as a BCBA for agencies in California, Georgia, New Jersey and New York. Nina is a proud member of CalABA and ABAI organizations. Nina published a peer-reviewed journal article in the Review of European Studies in 2016 under the mentorship of her undergraduate research advisor titled, "Does Love Influence Athletic Performance?". Nina is passionate in both the hands-on work of ABA in the field and the research aspects in helping expand the science that we know and love. Nina truly believes that ABA is the science and evidenced based practice that makes a positive difference and impact in peoples' lives.
In 2022, Nina co-founded Beacon Behavior Consultants, serving clients and families in the Inland Empire and looking forward to expanding all over California and nationwide. Today, Nina serves at the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Beacon with the goal of making a difference and bridging the gap through the science of ABA. Nina is also the founder of Behavior and Coffee, which is an online community for ABA Practitioners and a Podcast streaming on Spotify that serves as a resource to ABA practitioners from newly minted to seasoned BCBAs.
During her free time, Nina loves spending time with her family. She also loves going to the beach, trying out new food and travelling to new places!

Selah Bourne is our Onboarding Specialist/Recruiter. After spending the last 10 years in the real estate industry and managing her family’s boutique real estate office, she was introduced to the world of ABA. Selah is a mother of 4 and her oldest daughter was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 4. Her daughter being the first in her family with this diagnosis, pushed Selah to learn and understand more of the resources that were available to her daughter. After good experiences and bad experiences with different therapists and doctors, she understands now what kind of individual it takes to truly assist and impact the life of one on the spectrum. Her personal experience drives her to bring on the best of the best to our team. As our motto is “Our clients come first!”, she makes sure to hire the candidates that can live by that everyday!
Hello! My name is Linette Ramirez! (B.A., M.A.)
Personally, I enjoy walks in the park, making someone smile, coffee, chinese food, and naps ☺
A statement that comes to mind as I think about Beacon Company and what I do as a behavior therapist is “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
I have found the job I love and now I never work a day in my life isn’t that AMAZING? Working as a behavior therapist has brought to my life purpose and joy! being able to witness the positive changes and differences I can make in others brings me so much excitement and hope! Beacon Company to me is not just another company or another place, it is my family! My family who sees my mistakes and helps me grow professionally!
